For local economy stimulation and talent cultivation, SLC carries out diverse
environmental/cultural/sports projects and leads the efforts to improve local
resident's quality of life.
Establishing and Operating the Dream Park Scholarship Foundation
The SLC established the Dream Park Scholarship Foundation in 2002 for mutual prosperity with the local community and the realization of social value. We have been regularly granting scholarships to academically talented students, students from families subject to welfare services, and entertainment and sports talents around the Sudokwon Landfill Site.
Residents’ Welfare Complex
The Residents’ Welfare Complex was established with the resident support fund. The facility is composed of a senior care facility and infant care facility to ensure good recuperation, childcare, and cultural enjoyments.
Youth Golfer Support
SLC opens the golf course free of charge to students of nearby elementary/middle/high schools and amateur golfers to support future golf experts in Incheon. The organization has also provided assistance for the National Sports Festival and the Incheon AG as a way to fulfill its social responsibility.
Mutual Cooperation with Local Residents
SLC holds quarterly town hall meetings by rotating districts to listen to what local residents have to say about the Sudokwon Landfill Site. In addition, we provide a platform for communication and unity by inviting residents to special events, offering volunteer assistance during busy farming season, hosting sports events, etc.
Dream Park Cultural Classes for Citizens
We were established in 2012 to enhance the cultural life of local residents. To this date, we have provided cultural benefits to over 50,000 local residents. We offer courses such as floristry and landscaping, home goods manufacturing classes, and yoga classes. In the future, Dream Park Civic Cultural Center will expand its range of cultural courses to become a cultural relaxation space for local residents.
